1. When I was 14 I fell 30ft out of a tree and NEARLY DIED. (Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I broke both arms and my nose in two places and had to have two operations. Super.)
2. ...and when I was 17 I got kicked by a MASSIVE horse which broke two ribs and bruised my liver. OUCH.
3. Continuing the horsey theme (but moving away from injuries!), I spent over eight years going riding and being obsessed with ponieeees. My social life basically revolved around the stables as a young teenager.
4. When I was sixteen I just stopped eating meat one day and never started again. It was quite strange, because up until that point I used to eat lots of it.
5. I don't want to learn to drive because I have a morbid fear of being in charge of something that could kill me or other people through a lapse in my concentration.
6. In the summer before I went to Uni I worked in an ice cream van. It was great.
7. I hate cucumber to the extent that it makes me want to be sick. I can taste where it's been in a sandwich, even if it's not still there.
8. As well as ponieeeees I also used to be obsessed with drama, and was part of English Touring Theatre between the ages of 10 and 14, before it toured off and left me. I did GCSE and A level drama as well.
9. ...The above fact is weird, as I'm actually completely crap at acting.
10. At one point I had fourteen piercings. Now I have six.
11. I failed GCSE chemistry. Fell off the bottom of the 'higher' paper. Sucks to be me.
12. Most things that are 'random' or 'interesting' facts about me aren't things I really want to be known by the interwebs.
13. Oh, I know, as a teenage goffik I was offered a job in a sex/fetish clothes shop, but couldn't take it because I was underage (16/17, not, like, 10) and didn't want the owner of the shop to know 'cos that would mean I'd have to stop going there.
14.A couple of months ago I met JOHN COOPER CLARKE in a pub in King's Heath when I was really really drunk. I gave him my phone number, for some reason, and talked complete shit probably.
15. I seem to be unable to do any sort of normal job.
16. ...and for this reason I think it's probably best that I become an academic. Suspect I'm neither clever nor motivated enough though. :|
17. I regret doing nothing but my degree when I was at Uni, because it would have been really really easy to do things that's make my CV look amazing.
18. I'm a MASSIVE hypochondriac and get myself into states of high panic over nothing.
19. My Dad's cousin designed the Rotunda in Birmingham. (this is probably only interesting to me.)
20. I've only been to London four times in my life, but yet I want to live there. Naieve, me?!
21. I'm struggling to think of suitably light-hearted facts!
22. I didn't have actual penetrative sex until I was 21, and I don't regret how long it took for me to be ~*ready (although I'm fully aware it makes me seem like a weirdo- more so for the fact that it wasn't with any sort of long term boyfriend, but it seemed like the right thing to do).
23. As demonstrated above, I over-think about things and can make a moral dilemma or personal crisis out of things that are quite simple for most people.
24. My mum ran off with her boss (well, perhaps not 'ran off', but certainly advanced away quite quickly) when I was 14. I didn't like her for a while, but now I think she's A+ and am quite glad that she did the right thing and left my dad.
25. I live in the middle of nowhere in Dorset, but have no friends here 'cos I grew up/went to school in South Cheshire and went to Uni in Birmingham. This is extremely shit.

Christmas Day was varied-
Good because everyone was happy and for once my dad's girlfriend managed not to be a hellbitch to him, and was v. nice and good at conversation. Also, I got a camera, PICATORS AHOY! and a ludicrous amount of presents I actually wanted.
Not so good because I have a stinking cold, and also, in a stunning display of stupids managed to throw boiling soup down myself last night, which stuck to my trousers like napalm and have burned my leg to blisters. OUCH.
'Twas a jolly day though, and I have the customary boxing day buffet at my mums to look forward to this afternoon, har.
